Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with residential clients in the Chicago area through virtual and in-home meetings to understand design preferences, needs, and budgets.
• Lead the end-to-end design process, including the development of mood boards, design concepts, floor plans, and 3D renderings.
• Source furniture and decor using the Havenly platform to provide clients with a seamless shopping experience.
• Build and maintain deep client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Manage projects with a small business mindset, converting creative designs into successful sales.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as an interior designer with your own clients, either in-person or virtually.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Canva, including the ability to layer images and use background removal tools.
• Reliable transportation for traveling to and from client meetings in the Chicago area.
• Access to a personal computer running macOS Big Sur or Windows 10/11 with video conferencing capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and a professional presence to engage clients confidently.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Interior Design from an accredited program or university.
• High level of product knowledge across various vendors, categories, and price points.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new design technologies and online platforms.
