Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Prepare concept designs with Senior Interior Designers, Associates, and Directors
• Prepare spatial planning and schematic design schemes
• Assist in preparing design presentations and documentation through RIBA stages
• Prepare tender documentation packages including drawings, details, schedules, and specifications
• Liaise with the wider design team, including engineering services, specialist sub-consultants, and suppliers
• Assist in client liaison, meeting minutes, and project-related filing
• Support on-site construction stages and problem-solving

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the Interior Design or Architecture industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
• Essential AutoCAD skills with ability to produce work packages to RIBA Stage 3
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
• Experience in high-end residential, development, or hospitality projects
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and standards
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrics, sanitaryware, lighting, and hardware specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills in SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, or 3D Studio Max
• Experience with 3D modelling
• Understanding of architectural and joinery detailing
• Ability to manage costs within architectural, ID, and FF&E budgetary frameworks
