About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and interior designers within an integrated design process
- Contribute to projects through the full lifecycle from conceptual design to construction administration
- Partner with Project Managers to execute interior architecture and design assignments
- Prepare and coordinate design development and construction documentation
- Oversee the production of project documentation completed by junior designers
- Process construction administration documentation including RFIs and submittals
- Research building products, materials, and construction methods
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
- 5+ years of professional experience in interior architecture and design projects
- NCIDQ certification or actively pursuing certification
- Proficiency in Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility, and construction materials
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
- LEED accreditation
- Experience with Rhino
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
