Interim Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of facility operations
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Direct and oversee admissions, census development, and marketing initiatives
• Manage facility budgets, financial performance, and revenue optimization
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain survey readiness and support regulatory compliance efforts
• Oversee staffing, employee engagement, retention, and workforce development
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners

Requirements

• Active Nursing Home Administrator license in Oregon or ability to obtain licensure
• Completion of an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program or prior NHA/Assistant Administrator experience
• Minimum of one year of long-term care leadership experience
• Strong financial management and operational oversight skills
• Proficiency with healthcare technology platforms and computer systems
• Ability to travel throughout Southern Oregon, including occasional overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
