About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of facility operations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Direct and oversee admissions, census development, and marketing initiatives
- Manage facility budgets, financial performance, and revenue optimization
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain survey readiness and support regulatory compliance efforts
- Oversee staffing, employee engagement, retention, and workforce development
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners
Requirements
- Active Nursing Home Administrator license in Oregon or ability to obtain licensure
- Completion of an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program or prior NHA/Assistant Administrator experience
- Minimum of one year of long-term care leadership experience
- Strong financial management and operational oversight skills
- Proficiency with healthcare technology platforms and computer systems
- Ability to travel throughout Southern Oregon, including occasional overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
