Interim Controller

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the month-end close process, including timelines, task management, and final review
• Review key reconciliations and accounting outputs to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Provide day-to-day oversight and support to the accounting team
• Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues
• Identify close bottlenecks and implement practical process improvements

Requirements

• Controller-level experience or strong Accounting Manager experience
• Deep operational accounting and close leadership experience
• Ability to operate onsite in Monterey, CA
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in structured close environments
• Experience working with auditors
