Intensive Therapeutic Care Worker

Responsibilities

• Support young people aged 12–17 who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect in a residential care setting
• Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and mentoring through activities in daily living
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care for those with complex medical or physical needs
• Support individuals with diverse mental health needs, cognitive disabilities, and behaviours of concern
• Provide transport and community engagement for young people in your care

Requirements

• Hold or be working towards a Diploma in Community Services or a related field
• Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate
• Experience in residential care, disability support, or working with children and young people
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence
• Availability to work regular afternoon, sleepover, and weekend shifts
• Ability to clear probity checks, including National Criminal History, NSW Working with Children Check, and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check
