Intensive Support Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Complete backlog assessment cases and conduct assessment initiations
• Support Family In-Home Services and Permanency Planning through visits and case planning
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations
• Ensure practice aligns with federal and state law, policy, and best practices
• Partner with counties to carry cases

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a North Carolina CPS Social Worker or Supervisor
• Must meet Investigative Assessment Treatment Social Worker requirements
• Deep knowledge of NC child welfare policy, practice standards, and CQI processes
• Willingness to travel across North Carolina and maintain flexible work hours
• Strong technology skills and ability to work independently
