Intensive Care Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to critically ill patients within the ICU
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform clinical assessments and interpret diagnostic data
• Mentor and support junior clinicians and medical staff
• Maintain clear communication with patients’ families regarding care plans and progress
• Engage in clinical audits, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with current medical registration
• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine or an appropriate specialty
• Minimum 5 years of experience in intensive care or critical care settings
• Strong clinical decision-making and leadership abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
