Intelligent Transportation Systems Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Master installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Wavetronix core products
• Provide technical training and presentations to customers
• Conduct technical site surveys and review project plans
• Diagnose technical errors and determine proper solutions
• Provide customer support both in the field and over the phone
• Document processes and produce detailed trip reports
• Manage on-site installation and configuration of products
• Maintain project and support case tracking in CRM
• Travel approximately 65% of the month to support customers

Requirements

• 3+ years in technical sales or technical networking support
• Previous field service experience in traffic signal/ITS cabinets
• Basic understanding of networking
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules
• Ability to travel frequently (approx. 65%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (EET)
• Certifications in ITS or the traffic industry
