Intelligence Mission Data Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Interact with users and customers to identify and define business requirements
• Facilitate workshops to develop system use cases and information flows
• Develop and refine system requirement specifications and traceability
• Provide technical solution alternatives and perform options analysis
• Evaluate proposed technical solutions for suitability and compliance
• Assess and plan for organizational impact of proposed technical solutions
• Participate in solution testing and ensure compliance with requirements
• Prepare briefing notes, presentations, and weekly progress reports
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action item reports

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in sciences, engineering, or IM/IT related studies
• 10+ years of experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for IM/IT systems
• 10+ years of experience translating business requirements into system specifications
• 7+ years of experience developing system use cases or storyboards
• 7+ years of experience analyzing technical specifications for system implementation
• Professional knowledge and experience with IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS
• Ability to obtain and maintain a high-level Canadian Federal Government Security clearance
