Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to understand new technologies and innovation concepts
• Review and analyze invention disclosures to assist in translating technical ideas into patentable solutions
• Assist in evaluating the commercial potential and technical merits of innovative ideas
• Support the IP team in maintaining and optimizing internal patent processes and documentation
• Assist with the preparation, review, and filing of patent applications across multiple jurisdictions
• Maintain and update IP portfolio databases, records, and filing documentation
• Conduct patent and prior art searches to support invention evaluation and strategy
• Assist with patent clearance searches under supervision

Requirements

• Undergraduate or postgraduate student pursuing a Masters in IP Law (with a technical background) or a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Strong interest in intellectual property
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and technologies
• Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Familiarity with software, system design, or platform architecture is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
