About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Space Systems Integration and Test Team with unique integration and test equipment
- Contribute to improvements for the spacecraft Assembly Integration & Test (AIT) phase
- Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world challenges
- Collaborate with mentors and supervisors to facilitate technical and professional growth
Requirements
- Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math
- At least one semester of school remaining post-internship
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or personal projects)
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting August or September 2026
Preferred Qualifications
- GPA of 3.5 or above
- 6+ months of applied engineering experience
- Understanding of radio frequency and electronic components (capacitors, inductors, transformers)
- Hands-on experience with hardware or test equipment
- Proficiency in Python, Siemens NX, or JavaScript
- Knowledge of spacecraft design
