Integration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate integration office activities for a connected infotainment platform, including software release planning and smoke testing.
• Manage configuration files required for testing, such as ZDC, ODX, and OCU data sets.
• Provide Level 1 technical support to test teams and ensure timely distribution of software releases.
• Maintain vehicle hardware and test resources, including ECU swaps and ensuring proper tracing capabilities (CAN, ETH, MLP, etc.).
• Ensure correct vehicle setup regarding hardware and software versioning for project milestones and test drives.
• Evaluate product concerns from field products and work with Quality teams to identify root causes and define countermeasures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with automotive infotainment control module software development and feature design.
• Experience regarding the integration of multiple control units in an automotive system.
• Knowledge of vehicle communication networks.
• Experience with Volkswagen infotainment control modules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience bringing software functions to market.
• Experience integrating new functionalities into a connected environment.
• Experience in connected services, connected application development, or cloud development and authentication.
• German language skills (written and verbal).
