Integration Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technology advice to clients and develop solution architectures
• Take an end-to-end role in technology delivery projects
• Create Solution Architecture Documents (SAD) including Use Case, System Context, and Deployment views
• Develop integrations using WebSphere Data Power, ESB, Message Broker, ODM, and BPM
• Create Integration Requirements and Architecture documents
• Implement IIB patterns and business rules following standard vocabulary
• Validate that rules are appropriately fired for all potential events

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience with IBM Integration technologies (Message Broker, Data Power, IBM BPM, IBM ODM)
• 2+ years of experience with Event Driven Architecture
• 2+ years hands-on experience with an events processing engine
• Experience with Complex Event Processing (CEP)
• Hands-on experience with messaging products such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, or Apache ActiveMQ
• Knowledge of Publish/Subscribe, JMS, or MQTT
• Proficiency in EBI design patterns, SOA, and integration patterns (request-reply, sync/async)
• Ability to create UML artifacts including Use Cases, Sequence diagrams, and Collaboration diagrams
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IBM Integration Broker, IBM Message Queue, IBM BPM/ODM, and IBM Data Power
• Hands-on knowledge with IBM Integration Broker v9/v8 and Message Broker v7/8
• Understanding of IBM WPS/BPM, SCA modules, mediation modules, and BPEL
