Integration Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integration modules that forward security events from Reconeyez Cloud to third-party ARC, VMS, or PSIM platforms
• Develop and optimize the alarm forwarding pipeline to ensure reliable, real-time delivery of security events
• Design and extend integration APIs to enable new third-party connections with minimal custom code
• Automate integration workflows to improve scalability across customer deployments
• Containerize and deploy integration services
• Monitor and troubleshoot live integrations, diagnosing issues across system boundaries
• Collaborate on architectural decisions to improve platform robustness and quality

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Professional experience with Go, Rust, C++, or other compiled languages
• Experience with containerized deployments
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and message/alarm forwarding patterns
• Proven experience integrating with third-party APIs and platforms
• Awareness of secure development principles
• Detail-oriented approach to error handling, edge cases, and data integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with video management systems such as Genetec
• Experience with security and surveillance industry protocols (ONVIF, SIA DC-09, SurGard, etc.)
• Knowledge of NATS, Protobuf, and application/transport layer protocols
• Experience working with embedded/IoT systems or bridge devices
• Proficiency with Java
