Integration Engineering - Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop frameworks that process high volume transactions with Apple’s partners
• Utilize technical leadership to drive enhancements and scale B2B platforms
• Develop solutions to optimize availability and consistency across multiple data centers and cloud providers
• Enhance frameworks for managing persistence, event processing, transaction correlation, and notifications
• Work closely with domain-specific project developers, operations, and systems engineers

Requirements

• 8+ years of programming experience in Java for building middleware or backend applications
• 5+ years of experience using Java frameworks such as Spring
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• 5+ years of experience designing scalable solutions using Distributed System Architecture
• 2+ years of experience building frameworks using middleware like Apache Camel
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/S, TCP, DNS, and web application load balancing
• Deep understanding of security protocols including SSL/TLS, PKI, X509 certificates, and PGP
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning of applications and databases
• Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as bash or Perl
• Experience with cloud-based solution integrations
• Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals
• Working experience in Agile development methodology
• Proven ability to lead large projects and handle ambiguity in fast-paced environments
