Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to integrate internal and external clinical systems.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reusable APIs and integration flows supporting clinical trial data exchange (EDC, CTMS, eTMF, IRT).
• Ensure all MuleSoft integrations meet strict compliance standards, including HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and GxP.
• Configure and maintain workflows using Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and UiPath to automate business processes.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data managers, and clinical operations to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and automation job reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in integration engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
• Proficiency with Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and UiPath for workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of API design principles (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML).
• Familiarity with clinical systems such as EDC, CTMS, eTMF, or IRT.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards like HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11.
