Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations and APIs to support business-critical applications and data flows
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and application teams to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments to ensure high availability
• Build and maintain integration infrastructure leveraging best practices for security and scalability
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration standards, patterns, and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing regarding integration best practices
• Promote responsible integration practices, including proper data handling and adherence to compliance standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• Experience in software engineering or enterprise integration development
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Groovy
• Experience developing, consuming, and troubleshooting RESTful and SOAP-based web services and APIs
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
