About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support to students via walk-in visits and email to address concerns regarding financial wellness, academic policies, and degree planning.
  • Collaborate with Student Financial Services, Financial Aid, the Registrar, and academic advisors to resolve enrollment and student success issues.
  • Manage and resolve escalated student concerns in partnership with leadership and campus departments.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of student records in strict compliance with FERPA and HIPAA regulations.
  • Analyze operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for departmental process improvements.
  • Deliver exceptional, student-centered customer service across all communication channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in student services, higher education administration, advising, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in customer service and managing complex inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of FERPA and HIPAA regulations regarding sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in enrollment management or financial aid.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage difficult conversations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support institutional goals.
