Integrated Solutions Mechanical & Piping Estimator

Responsibilities

• Participate in preliminary project design and engineering meetings to evaluate integration materials and labor costs.
• Prepare detailed mechanical, electrical, and piping material take-offs and quotations for large-scale integration projects.
• Develop tailored, technically sound solutions for customer RFPs to ensure proper scope and technical specifications are met.
• Provide estimation and costing support to bid management and project management teams.
• Assist with equipment selections and technical calculations for various Vertiv products.
• Utilize Trimble Accubid MEP software to provide comprehensive bid support.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, and solution architect teams to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Process preferred) or comparable experience.
• 2 years of industrial or relevant commercial/industrial installation/integration estimating experience.
• Proficiency in Trimble Accubid MEP or similar estimating platforms.
• High level of technical knowledge regarding electrical distribution and mechanical cooling/piping systems.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure design, performance factors, and physical requirements.
• Experience evaluating electrical single line diagrams (SLD), relay PLC schemes, and communication network diagrams.
• Experience evaluating process piping, refrigeration diagrams, and associated control networks.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
