About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Static Frames, Cases, and Actuations Integrated Product Team (IPT) to deliver technical solutions for commercial engine components
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration between metallurgy, design, and component teams to meet safety, quality, and cost requirements
  • Synchronize multi-disciplinary analyses for print changes and Engineering First Piece Reviews (EFPRs)
  • Provide technical mentorship and project coaching to structures engineers to cultivate a high-performing engineering culture
  • Serve as the primary technical authority to approve engineering documentation and lead root cause hardware field investigations
  • Manage program budgets and execute engineering changes and risk mitigation plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 5 years of engineering experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Proven experience within the Aerospace industry, specifically with jet engine architecture and propulsion systems
  • Technical background in gas turbine components, including cases, fan modules, or compressor sections
  • Advanced working knowledge of PLM and ERP tools such as Teamcenter and SAP
  • Proficiency in MS Project and the MS Office Suite for technical documentation and executive presentations
