Intake Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily intake production operations to ensure products are received and processed safely, on time, and according to quality specifications
• Lead, motivate, and develop Team Leads and Intake Operators through coaching, training, and performance management
• Maintain strict compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 14001, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Execute production plans, manage labor loading, and adjust resources to meet daily output requirements
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to optimize inventory and resolve production issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, 5S, and standardization projects
• Ensure adherence to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and promote a proactive safety culture

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or reverse logistics operations
• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Working knowledge of medical device quality systems (FDA 21 CFR Part 820) and GMP
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems (e.g., QAD, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Experience working within a highly regulated medical device environment
