Insurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Participate in a training-focused program designed to prepare associates for servicing careers in the insurance industry
• Create and maintain commercial and personal lines client accounts using EPIC management systems
• Implement policy change requests, endorsements, and order loss runs
• Prepare Certificates of Insurance (COI) and assist with insurance proposals
• Support business development, marketing research, and client event coordination
• Perform administrative tasks including data entry, phone routing, and auditing for quality assurance
• Complete a capstone project to demonstrate mastery of industry knowledge and technical skills

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Florida 4-40, 2-15, or 2-20 License within 60 days of hire
• High School degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 6 months of prior employment experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong desire to learn and grow as an insurance professional
