Insurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance claims from intake to closeout using Xactimate
• Prepare, estimate, submit, and track claims and supplements
• Serve as the primary liaison between insurance carriers, customers, and internal teams
• Handle negotiations, follow-ups, and dispute resolutions with carriers
• Ensure all claims meet regulatory, carrier, and contractual requirements
• Collaborate with roofing specialists and project managers to finalize job scope
• Report on claims performance, closure rates, and cycle times

Requirements

• 3+ years of insurance claims experience in roofing, restoration, or construction
• Proven hands-on experience with Xactimate for claims estimating
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and negotiation
• Proficiency in claims management or CRM systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Xactimate Level 2 Certification
• Experience managing commercial projects or large-loss restoration
• Existing relationships with major insurance carriers
• Bilingual (Spanish)
