Insurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and tracking of insurance policies, endorsements, and renewals across MAC and MGCs.
• Assist in the preparation of annual insurance renewals by gathering necessary underwriting information.
• Coordinate with brokers and carriers regarding policy updates, endorsements, and documentation.
• Review insurance documentation to ensure accuracy of policy details and coverage alignment.
• Manage the issuance and tracking of Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
• Support insurance audits and follow up on required documentation.
• Maintain organized records of policies and endorsements to ensure timely updates and accessibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely completion of insurance-related requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business-related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
• Proven experience working with brokers and insurance companies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a brokerage, carrier, or corporate insurance environment.
• Relevant insurance certifications.
