Insurance Recovery Associate

Responsibilities

• Represent corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation, arbitrations, and dispute resolution proceedings
• Advise clients on insurance recovery strategy and coverage issues
• Analyze and interpret complex commercial insurance policies, endorsements, and exclusions
• Draft coverage analyses, pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
• Assist clients in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims
• Work with clients, insurers, brokers, and adjusters to advance recovery objectives
• Support all phases of litigation including discovery and trial preparation

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery or coverage litigation
• Demonstrated experience representing policyholders
• Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the applicable state bar and in good standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Federal judicial clerkship experience
