Insurance Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the growth and profitability of landlord dwelling products
• Identify, design, and implement new product opportunities and initiatives
• Enhance coverage and form language and draft new endorsements
• Analyze profitability drivers including loss ratios, actuarial indications, and frequency/severity trends
• Manage rate filings via SERFF to ensure required returns across segments
• Serve as the subject matter expert on landlord insurance forms, endorsements, and underwriting guidelines
• Collaborate with engineering on programming specifications
• Develop data-driven action plans to improve product performance

Requirements

• Over five years of experience in insurance with a focus on personal lines
• Direct experience in insurance product development
• Experience creating or editing policy form language
• Proficiency navigating SERFF and competitor filings
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
• Proven ability to take products from inception to launch

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with HO or DP products
• Desire to work in an early-stage insurtech startup environment
• Ability to influence product direction across multiple teams
