Insurance Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process and submit applications, binders, policies, and related documentation using AMS, CRM, and carrier portals
• Manage full policy lifecycle transactions including new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
• Review underwriting submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with guidelines
• Obtain and manage loss runs to support underwriting decisions
• Perform premium breakdowns and quality-check certificates of insurance (COIs)
• Manage renewal workflows to ensure timely completion per SLA agreements
• Prepare quote comparisons and coverage summaries for internal teams and carriers
• Collaborate with underwriting, account executives, and external partners

Requirements

• High school diploma with prior insurance support experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of insurance operations experience
• P&C Producers License or ability to obtain within 3 months of start date
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance management systems
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Commercial lines insurance experience
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance
• Experience with process improvement initiatives
