Insurance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the optimization of insurance coverage by defining the appropriate mix of insurance and self-insurance.
• Coordinate corporate insurance programs across multiple lines, including Life, Surety, Fleet, Liability, Cyber, D&O, and Affinity.
• Negotiate insurance premiums, coverage, and terms directly with insurers and brokers.
• Prepare specifications and evaluate bids for insurance broker and underwriting services.
• Coordinate renewal, quotation, and endorsement processes.
• Analyze and compare proposals to ensure technical and commercial alignment with business needs.
• Ensure policy documentation accuracy and compliance with negotiated conditions.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor the policy lifecycle, including renewals, payments, and operational controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Solid experience in corporate insurance and policy management.
• Practical knowledge of multiple insurance lines (Life, Surety, Fleet, Liability, Cyber, D&O).
• Proven experience negotiating with insurers and brokers.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure and evaluate complex proposals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel and Power BI is considered a plus.
