Insurance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Renew insurance policies to balance efficient risk transfer with exposure reduction
• Review insurance requirements and indemnity provisions in third-party contracts
• Perform routine financial analysis and aggregate data from internal and external sources for reporting
• Support the issuance of certificates of insurance and surety bonds
• Coordinate and oversee refinery risk surveys with insurance carriers
• Oversee the preparation of the insurance department budget
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to gather financial information
• Identify and propose process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Educate business partners on insurance and risk management topics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Three years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
