Insulator

Responsibilities

• Install insulation on HVAC ductwork, chilled water pipes, refrigerant lines, and related equipment
• Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials such as glass wool, rock wool, foam, elastomeric, and calcium silicate
• Apply insulation cladding and seal joints, seams, and openings using tapes, adhesives, or sealants
• Read and interpret insulation drawings, isometric layouts, and project specifications
• Ensure proper thickness, density, and coverage according to project requirements
• Perform insulation removal, repair, and replacement as needed
• Coordinate with HVAC technicians, pipe fitters, and supervisors to ensure project flow
• Follow strict safety procedures, particularly when handling fiberglass or working at heights

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC, MEP, or industrial insulation within the Oil & Gas sector
• ITI or a relevant educational background
• Strong knowledge of various insulation materials and application methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for measuring, cutting, and finishing
• Willingness to work in remote locations as required by project needs
