Insulation Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist insulators in the installation, maintenance, repair, and removal of thermal, acoustic, and fireproof insulation systems.
• Support insulation activities on piping, vessels, tanks, equipment, ducts, and associated components.
• Carry insulation materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations.
• Assist in measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting insulation materials under guidance.
• Support the installation of metal cladding, jacketing, and protective coverings.
• Help remove damaged or deteriorated insulation during maintenance and shutdown activities.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces and removing debris.
• Load, unload, sort, and store insulation materials in designated locations.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work areas, workshops, and storage locations.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, specifications, and supervisor directives.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and report unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in oil and gas construction projects is preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and materials.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and climbing ladders.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow strict instructions.
• High school diploma or relevant technical training is preferred.
