About the role
Responsibilities
- Install and provide technical and breakdown cover for the full range of Essilor Instruments products
- Provide next-day service and prompt attention to minimize customer downtime
- Deliver installation and training assistance to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records and provide monthly reporting to the Instruments Manager
- Conduct market assessments to identify customer needs and competitor activity
- Visit customers to assess ongoing technical issues and provide feedback for resolution
Requirements
- GCSE-level standard (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant industry or equipment experience
- Field-based optical experience
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Proficient knowledge of IT, networking, and connectivity
- Ability to work independently or within a small team under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of company products and systems
