BSc. or Diploma in Science, 1-3 years laboratory experience

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Performs and executes laboratory techniques as per methods independently following SOPs
  • Documents information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books
  • Records and periodically interprets results for senior colleagues
  • Maintains laboratory supplies and inventory stock
  • Operates and maintains equipment, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
  • Carries out routine instrument checks for compliance and accuracy
  • Assists with the preparation of method SOPs, validation protocols, and reporting
  • Enforces a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Assists Department Supervisor with H&S checks, meetings, and incident reports

Requirements

  • BSc. or Diploma in a Science related program or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of relevant laboratory work experience
