About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute the design, validation, and implementation of plant instrumentation to optimize technical performance and costs.
  • Perform technical tasks including design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings, and material definition for process measuring sensors and actuators.
  • Prepare technical documentation such as instrumentation specifications, data sheets, BOQs, and MTOs.
  • Validate vendor sizing calculations for control valves, safety valves, and measurement elements.
  • Coordinate technical activities with other project specialists and manage subcontracted engineering works.
  • Provide technical and engineering support during the construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.
  • Ensure all activities comply with QA/QC, HSE requirements, and international regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Deep understanding of process instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level), control valves, and safety valves.
  • Strong knowledge of international codes and standards including ISA, IEC, API, and ASME.
  • Familiarity with Hazardous Area classifications (ATEX/IECEx).
  • Proficiency in instrumentation design tools such as SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) or Aveva Engineering.
  • Experience with sizing software (e.g., Conval).
  • Fluency in English (B2/C1 level) with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural project teams.
