Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks including design, layout definition, and material definition for instrumentation elements
• Prepare technical documentation, including instrumentation data sheets, specifications, and installation drawings
• Validate vendor sizing calculations for control valves, safety valves, and measurement elements
• Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control technical documentation
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and Material Take-Offs (MTOs)
• Participate in P&ID mechanization and 3D modeling design activities
• Support the construction and commissioning phases through site engineering activities
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and vendor workshops

Requirements

• Proven experience in the design, testing, and engineering of process measuring sensors and actuators
• Ability to perform vendor sizing calculation validation
• Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and specifications
• Experience providing site engineering support during construction and commissioning
• Strong English language skills
• Ability to work on-site (China Onshore and Qatar Offshore)
