Instrumentation Engineer for Flight Test Installation - Optronic

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements to specify, design, and deliver Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) and its core systems, including ground stations, hardware, and digital systems.
• Define, release, and integrate FTI architecture and sizing while ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) targets.
• Manage fiber-optic measurement development projects and drive technology maturity toward full industrialization.
• Ensure configuration control for FTI systems and manage global logistics, including CapEx, export control, and inventory management.
• Coordinate operational activities and provide Level 2 technical support to maintenance and flight test teams.

Requirements

• Background in Physical Measurement, Electronics, or Optronics with initial professional experience in a similar technical environment.
• Experience in strength of materials (RDM) applicable to physical measurement.
• Knowledge of metrology and measurement uncertainty calculations.
• Basic project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and tendering/RFPs.
• Advanced proficiency in English and operational proficiency in French.

• Direct knowledge of optronic systems.
