Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium-sized instrumentation projects, managing scope, schedule, and cost.
• Prepare instrumentation engineering design documents, drawings, specifications, and installation guidelines.
• Perform primary and final element sizing and selection of field instrumentation.
• Conduct detailed technical reviews of vendor and contractor designs to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Review and red-line P&IDs, layouts, and other key documents with a focus on safety and operability.
• Validate engineering data sheets, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document approvals.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure work progress and quality of deliverables.
• Analyze project-related documents to accurately quantify controls and instrumentation scope items.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering (B Eng).
• 4-6 years of professional experience in instrumentation design and project delivery.
• Proficiency in oil and gas industry codes and standards, including API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, and IEEE.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multinational team.
• Proven experience in project delivery and scope management.
