Instrumentation & Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and onsite support for critical safety systems and system reliability
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems
• Perform calibrations and repairs to ensure accurate and reliable instrumentation performance
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain pneumatic and electronic process control instrumentation
• Use control logic drawings to diagnose complex process control systems
• Prepare and maintain documentation including work orders, service reports, and calibration records
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on low voltage electrical systems and automatic control valves

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in process control instrumentation
• Proficiency with electrical and instrumentation hand tools, meters, and calibration equipment
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams
• Strong knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, holidays, and call-in coverage
