About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instrumentation and control systems.
  • Read and interpret I&C and electrical control drawings, work orders, and plans.
  • Work independently or within a team setting to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Communicate work progress and difficulties effectively with leadership and co-workers.
  • Follow all applicable safety standards and utilize human performance tools and techniques.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and proficiency in using calibration equipment and specialty tooling.
  • Utilize company software programs such as Maximo, CAS, and Tags Pro to complete tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of relevant work experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear access.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to pass the Power Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of closely related experience with electronic equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical or instrumentation equipment.
  • Experience reading electrical diagrams, schematics, and one-line drawings.
  • Experience with lock out tag out (LOTO) of electrical equipment.
  • Previous experience with Power Plant Generator Breaker Maintenance.
  • Current Nuclear Access.
