Instrumentation & Control Panel Technician

Responsibilities

• Mount components, route wires, and assemble industrial control panels and enclosures according to engineering schematics
• Test instruments, meters, and gauges to ensure high-accuracy performance and regulatory compliance
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized software
• Install, repair, and maintain hardware and software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and SCADA networks
• Modify and update electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and testing logs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical control systems and troubleshooting/repair of control panels
• Thorough knowledge of instrumentation and control systems operations and maintenance
• Experience with HVAC, boiler plant, water/wastewater, building automation, or electrical substation systems
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50–100 lbs
• Ability to pass a government background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in electronics, instrumentation, or a related trade
