About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibrations and adjustments on measurement equipment and instruments in accordance with approved standard procedures.
  • Provide calibration services for equipment used in production, quality control, laboratory, and manufacturing environments.
  • Calibrate dimensional, mechanical, and electrical devices across multiple disciplines.
  • Collect, compile, and measure data to support calibration traceability documentation and certificates.
  • Create Instrument Control Numbers (ICNs) and document/file calibration records in the TMS system.
  • Participate in the training and development of other team members.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation and electronics.
  • 3-4 years of work experience directly related to the calibration of electrical/mechanical instrumentation.
  • 2+ years of calibration or instrumentation experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 2-4 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Knowledge of computers and data acquisition systems.
  • Ability to read wire and mechanical schematics.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, push/pull 60 pounds, and maintain specific grip strength and reach requirements.
