About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations and adjustments on measurement equipment and instruments in accordance with approved standard procedures.
- Provide calibration services for equipment used in production, quality control, laboratory, and manufacturing environments.
- Calibrate dimensional, mechanical, and electrical devices across multiple disciplines.
- Collect, compile, and measure data to support calibration traceability documentation and certificates.
- Create Instrument Control Numbers (ICNs) and document/file calibration records in the TMS system.
- Participate in the training and development of other team members.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation and electronics.
- 3-4 years of work experience directly related to the calibration of electrical/mechanical instrumentation.
- 2+ years of calibration or instrumentation experience within a manufacturing environment.
- 2-4 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of computers and data acquisition systems.
- Ability to read wire and mechanical schematics.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, push/pull 60 pounds, and maintain specific grip strength and reach requirements.
