About the role

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and resolve failures in enterprise laboratory instruments and automation systems
  • Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to minimize operational downtime
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and calibration to ensure equipment reliability and compliance
  • Document all service activities in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and regulatory frameworks (OSHA, FDA, ISO, CLIA)
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to support troubleshooting and project execution
  • Support process improvements by drafting or revising SOPs and optimizing workflows

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Electronics; or an Associate degree with 2 years of relevant experience; or a High school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience interpreting mechanical parts and assembly drawings
  • Proficiency with electrical circuits and diagrams
  • Hands-on experience using electrical measurement tools such as multi-meters and analyzers
  • Ability to work a Tuesday–Friday schedule (6:00 am – 4:30 pm) and perform physical tasks including standing and lifting up to 40 pounds
