About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support and comply with all local and corporate health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
  • Perform calibration and testing of all safety-critical systems, equipment protection, and quality control components.
  • Troubleshoot and replace faulty instrumentation, including actuators, controllers, solenoids, transmitters, switches, sensors, and analyzers.
  • Manage the Instrumentation Preventive Maintenance Work Order System to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Order and maintain inventory of critical spare parts and components.
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by external contractors.
  • Respond to evening and weekend service calls to ensure continuous plant operations.
  • Provide technical assistance to other locations as required (approximately 20% of workload).

Requirements

  • AEC or DEP in industrial automation or a DEC in Instrumentation and Controls.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in an industrial plant and process environment.
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to perform limited overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in industrial gas plants.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and process schematics.
  • Knowledge of process analyzer maintenance and calibration.
  • Experience with high/medium voltage electrical switchgear.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
