About the role
Responsibilities
- Define, document, and maintain standardized event tracking specifications
- Own and manage a centralized, version-controlled event registry
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Analytics stakeholders to translate requirements into tracking specifications
- Collaborate with Engineering to support implementation and validation of instrumentation
- Validate event tracking through QA processes, monitoring, and debugging tools
- Enforce governance standards related to taxonomy and naming conventions
- Manage instrumentation intake, prioritization, and change management processes
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplication, and gaps in event tracking
- Support configuration of tag management systems and analytics SDKs
Requirements
- 3+ years in digital instrumentation, analytics implementation, QA, or data governance
- 2+ years of experience collaborating with Product, Marketing, Engineering, or Analytics teams
- Foundational understanding of event-driven tracking systems and data layers
- Experience validating event tracking in web and mobile environments
- Experience maintaining event registries and taxonomies
- Exposure to tag management systems and analytics SDKs
- Ability to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Product Management, or related field
