Instrument Test and Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex electromechanical instruments on the production line
• Serve as the manufacturing process owner for assigned lines, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits, PCBs, mechanical systems, and integrated software
• Support process engineering activities, including deviation waivers and quality notifications
• Train production associates on assembly and testing procedures
• Collaborate with engineers to solve design and manufacturing challenges and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all company safety and housekeeping policies

Requirements

• Associate degree in mechanical or electronics engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated capability to test highly complex electromechanical instruments
• Proficiency in a Windows environment and use of personal computers
• Expert ability to read technical drawings and interpret dimensions
• Fundamental knowledge of tools including oscilloscopes, torque drivers, and gauges
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work overtime as required to meet business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with robotics
• Experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex instruments
• Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or developing other associates
