Instrument Test and Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot assigned instrument production lines
• Serve as the manufacturing process owner for assigned lines, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits, PCBs, mechanical systems, and integrated electromechanical systems
• Support process engineering activities, including deviation waivers and quality notifications
• Train production associates on assembly and test procedures
• Collaborate with engineers to solve design and manufacturing challenges and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
• Revise, verify, and validate manufacturing procedures

Requirements

• Associate's degree in mechanical, electronics, or a related field
• Demonstrated capability to test highly complex electromechanical instruments
• Proficiency in a Windows environment and use of personal computers
• Expert ability to read technical drawings and interpret dimensions
• Fundamental knowledge of tools including oscilloscopes, torque drivers, and gauges
• Strong math and analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics
• Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex instruments
