About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and overhaul instrumentation
- Assist with maintenance of computer and microprocessor systems associated with raw sewerage treatment
- Maintain indicating, recording, telemetering, and controlling instrumentation (electronic, mechanical, pneumatic)
- Utilize test equipment such as multi-meters for process instrument maintenance
- Work with engineers and vendors to install, test, and modify control systems
- Update operating and maintenance documentation
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or demonstrated equivalent ability
- One to three years of experience in the electronics technology field
- Knowledge of advanced digital and analog electronics principles
- Ability to perform soldering and de-soldering
- Ability to read schematics and process/instrumentation drawings
- Proficiency with calibrating equipment and diagnostic tools
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microprocessor control systems and peripheral equipment
