Responsibilities

• Installing, calibrating, and maintaining instruments and control systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with existing systems
• Performing regular tests and inspections to ensure optimal operation
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Testing new or repaired instrumentation on test stands
• Modifying or fabricating instrumentation as needed for facility requirements
• Planning, constructing, and assembling test panels for experimental production testing
• Maintaining records on repair and calibration of instruments
• Recommending modifications or upgrades to improve system efficiency and safety

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in plant process operations
• Ability to use hand tools and testing devices
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights of 80-100 feet
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school
• Combination of relevant experience and education
