About the role
Responsibilities
- Sterilize and disinfect clinical instruments and equipment within the dental clinic dispensary
- Manage handpiece processing, including cleaning, lubricating, and steam sterilization
- Execute bur processing by using instrument washers and preparing burs for sterilization
- Perform cold disinfection processes, including managing disinfection baths and drying items
- Conduct instrument sterilization including autoclave testing, biological indicator testing, and chemical indicator testing
- Maintain clinic, X-ray rooms, and laboratory areas
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, scrubbing, and rinsing
Requirements
- High school graduation
- Minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Additional training in a related field
- Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Willingness to respect diverse perspectives
